| The Best Keyboard For Your DAW Home Recording Studio | | Print | |

A piano keyboard is somewhat optional, but I would think most of you will need one sooner or later. The way a DAW system works, soundware and/or sampler software is used in conjunction with your main DAW software. When keys are struck on your piano keyboard, it triggers sounds from your soundware or sampler software. If you load up a drum into the soundware or sampler, drum beats play when you hit the piano keys, etc. The beats or melodies you play can eventually be exported to a .wav file in the DAW software, which makes the track useable on any DAW system.
