We spent over $3,000 to get our first three songs mixed and mastered by an "industry expert." Obviously, we weren't "big enough" for him. He took our money and the results were terrible. After this mess, we didn't have much money left. We turned to Big Label Sound Studio and for a few hundred dollars they remixed and mastered our songs. The results were exceptional! GREAT!! They ended up doing our entire CD for us. After working with Big Label Sound Studio, I wouldn't want the services of the "industry expert" even if it was for FREE! Note: Most PC and small bookshelf speakers have no low end bass response, their high end is exaggerated to some extent, and they have no depth, so it will be hard to notice these changes in our before and after samples.

Plug your ipod headphones into your computer and check out our samples. You won't be able to hear any bass, but you'll notice a big difference.

CD OVERVIEW

Just this past week, when Jive recording artist/Grammy nominee, Bowling For Soup, needed their acoustic CD professionally, economically and quickly mastered for an upcoming U.K. tour, they turned to Big Label Sound Studio to do the job!

Some of the songs they submitted were between 70%-80% mastered and didn't need much done to them, while a few were completely unmastered. Our job was to get every song sounding the best it could, and to maintain a consistent volume level for all 16 songs.

As usual, we came through!

	CD OVERVIEW Usually when we get a CD in, we have to make a number of corrections, sometimes very drastic, to every song so that it sounds the way it's supposed to. What makes it challenging is every song has entirely different problems. We have to diagnose each problem then correct it. That's our job and we do it well. In this case, the raw song mixes on the CD submitted by Good Sir Con Artist sounded like what we've received in the past from the major record labels. When mastering for the major record label, you only need to "enhance" the songs, not drastically change them. Needless to say, the mastering job came out excellent! G.S.C.A. we wish you the best! 	CD OVERVIEW Jovonni submitted a large collection of 21 hard hittin' hip-hop tunes. The songs were produced fairly well, but needed a little mastering work. We pumped up the bass so the songs hit harder. We also had to balance the vocals with the music so they were clear and audible at all times. Then a little spectral enhancement and some compression was added to smooth everything out. Now Jovonni's tunes are ready for the radio. This powerful rock cd came to us mainly lacking punch, clarity, and overall volume. Listen closely how muffled the "before" samples sound. We worked extensively with 1 Sick Unit to get the exact sound they were looking for. Clear, but hard sounding metal. We even gave suggestions on the mix so they could adjust it and achieve that sound.

It took us a few adjustments, but once we nailed down their exact preferences, we were able to translate them to the entire CD! Good luck guys!

	CD OVERVIEW I love all genres of music, but I'm not a huge R&B fan (even though I can master it very well). That being said, a few of the songs on this CD were my favorites for 2010! They're just good songs. All of the songs on the CD needed some power, punch, and clarity; but overall this CD had a good vibe to it. Great job for a self-produced artist! Here are a couple more songs we mixed and mastered for The Christian Boys, in a different genre.

The song "I Gave My Life" has 50 tracks. 9 vocal tracks are used in the choruses for that thick sound. All of the vocals were pitch corrected and the entire final chorus was raised up one full note. I bet you couldn't even tell!
